The « Virades de l’espoir » event is a national day of action against the genetic disease cystic fibrosis and is organised every year in several cities across France on the last Sunday of September.

The event aims to “raise funds to defeat the disease and increase public awareness”, and offers various activities throughout the day, including races and concerts. Every “Virade” ends with a spectacular balloon release, a symbol of breath and hope.

This year, the event took place on Sunday the 29th of September at the Parc de Sceaux, South of Paris, and the BMI SYSTEM team participated in the races and activities to support the associations in their fight against this debilitating disease.
