BMI SYSTEM was in Istanbul, Turkey from March 2nd to 5th 2015.
Laurent Clerc, BMI SYSTEM’s Regulatory Affairs Expert, met with several pharmaceutical companies established in Turkey as well as with the IEIS, the pharmaceutical manufacturers association of Turkey. The purpose was to introduce BMI SYSTEM’s solutions which enable to meet the EFPIA disclosure requirements in a cost-effective and compliant approach.
The Turkish Transparency market has similar requirements to the French market, including a pre-event declaration process and an upcoming law on the disclosure of all benefits paid to HCPs and HCOs.
Last January, BMI SYSTEM had already visited Turkey. This visit, in the form a seminar organised with its local partner, aimed at introducing the new requirements of the EFPIA Code and present successful implementation examples in European countries. More information here.
The Turkish version of NAYA Transparency (fully developed in Turkish), which offers, among other modules, NAYA Backbone and NAYA Pre-approval, was met with great success among the companies, whether EFPIA members or not.
Indeed, beyond meeting the EFPIA regulatory requirements, NAYA enables the management numerous pre-event aspects.
Furthermore, the upcoming Promotion law expanding the disclosure requirement to any pharmaceutical company established in Turkey, should increase their interest for compliance solutions such as BMI SYSTEM’s.
